Word for the Month: January 2018

When I was preparing for this January word for the month, the Lord clearly spoke to me that is is time to take the axe to the root of the tree.

While I was pondering and praying into this I heard the sound in Spirit of the trumpet call. The bible declares in 1 Thessalonians 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God. ”

I do believe we are living in the time of the pre-trumpet call. This is a time God will give his people. A time of grace and favour to be preparing for the coming king. This is a time for the spirit of the baptist to be berthed in you. A voice of one crying in the desert making paths straight for Him.

The baptist (John) had spent time in his cave (prayer closet) listening to God. He perceived that the coming King was at hand. He saw him as the woodsman laying his axe to the root of the trees, of the husband man with his fan in his hand, to winnow the threshing floor, burning up the chaff with fire.

This was a separation statement! Surely as we perceive the time we are in we must realise that God wants separation from – anything goes. Matthew 13v49 “ The separation of the wicked from the righteous”.

We have been called, set apart, to be holy. We have a voice, and its our mandate to say no to certain things, and not tolerate what seems to be normal behaviour. It is time for us believers to take the axe to the root of the tree, whatever that is in your life, Church, Family, Work, Etc.

In this coming year we are moving into a divine transfer of blessings from heaven. Genesis 1 “And God blessed them and said take dominion”

There is a heavenly movement, as it is in heaven so shall it be on earth.

Johns work was preparatory and did not last long.

Let us receive in this coming year the divine transfer of blessings. I do believe that we do not have long before the King comes.

Let us get baptised with fire.

Let go of the past and allow the crushing and squeezing that we have endured to bring forth new wine and new power, and our voices will break new ground.
