“For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own
opinion that blindness (hardening) in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so
all Israel will be saved … “ Romans 11:25-26

Israel to be saved Jews find it hard to accept that Yeshua is the Son of God. They can only see Him as the Son of
Man because God is One (not three in one). Only divine revelation can give them understanding.

Pray for the fullness of the Gentiles to come in and for an increased outpouring of the Holy Spirit, which began on the day of Pentecost, to come upon the Jewish people, for the blindness to be removed and for their salvation.
Praise that there were no incidents during the Fall Feasts and thousands of people rejoiced.
Praise that Disabled people are to receive higher pensions after intense negotiations.

Balfour Centenary – 2nd November. Praise for this celebration but pray that attempts to use it to delegitimize and
demonise Israel come to nothing. PM May still says settlements are an obstacle to peace.

Pray for the UK’s stand with Israel to be strengthened and greater understanding for our political leaders.

Hamas-Fatah alliance – a reconciliation deal was signed on 12 Oct 2017, ending a decade-long split. Under the
agreement, the Palestinian Authority is to resume full control of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip by 1 December
2017. Israel condemned the agreement, as it does not require Hamas to disarm. Israel will not enter negotiations for
a peace agreement with a terror organization that calls for Israel’s destruction.

Pray the reconciliation does not last and Hamas’ true colours are exposed. Pray Israel will stand firm and other nations will support them. Pray the Hamas terrorist group will continue to be boycotted by the UN until it renounces violence against Israel.

Tunnels discovered – 10 tunnels under the Judea & Samaria security barrier near Hebron were sealed off by the IDF. Many Palestinians have illegally crossed through them. Also Israel destroyed an Islamic Jihad tunnel from Gaza killing
a number of terrorists. UNWRA has condemned the building of tunnels under Gaza schools.

Praise for tunnel detection technology. Praise for UNWRA stance. Pray for all tunnels to be discovered and dismantled.

Northern Borders Reports from a High Level Military Group think tank judge that a war between Iranian-backed
Hezbollah and Israel is inevitable. Pray for Israel to be ready and for God to give them the strategy to combat this.
Trouble continues on the Syria border with Israel recently conducting targeted air strikes in Syria after ‘spill over’ fire
into the Golan Heights emerged as intentional.

Pray for Israel to keep this threat at bay.

UNESCO withdrawals The USA will withdraw because of concerns with mounting arrears, the need for fundamental
reform and continuing anti-Israel bias. Israel will withdraw over the organization’s anti-Israeli bias. The UN is
becoming a pro-BDS, anti-Israel lobby. Praise for US-Israel unity and stand.

Pray for UNESCO to be completely discredited and for other nations to follow their example.

Iran Deal The US has decertified the deal and Congress must now decide whether to re-impose sanctions. The UAE
and Bahrain support this stance but Britain, France and Germany oppose it. Praise for US stand.

Pray for other nations to wake up and cooperate to halt the nuclear threat from Iran to Israel and the world.

Water Israel’s water situation concerning its ecology and agriculture are in dire need. The Sea of Galilee is at
dangerously low levels and the underground aquifers are drying up.

Pray for rain!

Unity Ultra-orthodox riots over joining the IDF; the fragile coalition government; religious differences; ethnic
misunderstandings.

Pray for peace and unity at all levels of society in Israel.

Cyber security – an ever present danger. Last week the Times of Israel was hit by a Turkish cyberattack. In June
Iranian government hackers hacked UK MPs email accounts.

Pray for protection from this form of terrorism.

Notes on Israel Prayer Points for November 2017

Balfour Centenary PM May reaffirmed the Government’s current position at a private celebration dinner,
which Jeremy Corbyn declined to attend, sending Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry in his place.
Both are calling for the centenary to be used to recognise Palestine. Pro-Palestinian protests have been
held in London, Jerusalem and Gaza, with promises being made to sue Britain for the Balfour Declaration.

Hamas-Fatah alliance Hamas was not prepared to disarm its sizable military force. Its primary claim to
fame is its history of armed violence against Israel. PM Netanyahu stressed that Israel would not deal with
a Palestinian government that included Hamas if it maintained its anti-Israel stance and remained
committed to terrorism. He said: “Whoever wants to make such a reconciliation must know our clear terms :
recognizing the State of Israel, disbanding Hamas’ military arm, severing ties with Iran, which calls for our
destruction, the return of Israeli citizens and the bodies of Israeli soldiers, the comprehensive dismantling of
weapons and the adoption of the Quartet conditions.”

Tunnels discovered Each of the tunnels, which were built to serve as drain pipes, was about 1.5 meters
(5 feet) in diameter and about 20 meters (65 feet) in length. Last week, at least 100 Palestinians who
crossed into Israeli territory via the massive drainage pipes carried out a series of agricultural thefts.

Northern borders In the report, titled ‘Hezbollah’s Terror Army: How to Prevent a Third Lebanon War’,
Hezbollah is considered to be the most powerful non-state armed force in the world. The Iranian-backed terrorist
organization, which is in complete political and military control of Lebanon, has the clout of a government, the
firepower of an army and the strategic approach of a terrorist organization, according to their assessment.
Hezbollah currently has a stockpile of over 130,000 rockets, more than the combined arsenal of all NATO
countries, with the exception of the US. Hezbollah’s rocket capabilities have increased tenfold since the 2006
war and present a threat few countries, much less sub-state organizations, on the globe can mount.

Iran Deal The decertification stops short of pulling out of the agreement. Under the 2015 deal, which was
negotiated along with the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia and China, the Trump administration
must certify every 90 days whether it believes Iran is in compliance with the agreement. The leaders of the
three European countries, whose companies have made massive business deals with Iran, issued a joint
statement saying they “stand committed” to the deal and are concerned about the implications of Trump’s
refusal to back it despite a report from German Intel that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons technology. “The
Europeans continue to put their heads in the sand, exactly like they did before World War II,” said Israeli
Defence Minister Liberman. He praised Trump for sending the Iran deal back to Congress for re-evaluation,
calling it a “courageous and correct decision.”

Cyber Security The Times of Israel website was taken down for several hours and replaced with a
placeholder declaring support for the Palestinian cause and displaying a verse from the Koran. Thankfully
the issue was resolved quickly, but we are reminded of the vulnerability of online publishing to attack.

The British news media reported on 14 Oct. 2017 that Iranian government hackers conducted a sustained cyberattack over the summer targeting UK politicians including PM Theresa May, successfully compromising dozens of email accounts belonging to members of Parliament. According to a secret
intelligence assessment, State-sponsored hackers traced to the regime in Tehran targeted about 9,000 email accounts associated with dozens of members of British parliament, cabinet ministers, Mrs. May and others during a 12-hour-long brute force attack waged 23 June 2017. Ninety email accounts in all were compromised as a result of the attack, or about one percent of the total accounts targeted. The Prime Minister’s emails weren’t at risk because Mrs. May uses an account associated with the Prime Minister’s office rather than Parliament, but intelligence officials believe it’s inevitable the hackers obtained sensitive material. The USA has repeatedly accused Iran of hacking American targets in the past, but Britain has failed so far to publicly blame Tehran with waging any cyberattacks against the UK.
